Hot wash pet flakes
BL PlasticHot wash PET flakes are an essential component in the recycling industry. PET flakes are the small pieces of plastic that are left after the PET bottles are crushed and shredded. These flakes are then washed, dried, and used to make various products such as carpets, clothing, and packaging materials. However, before these flakes can be used, they must be thoroughly cleaned to remove any residual contaminants such as dirt, labels, or other impurities.
The hot wash process is one of the most effective ways to clean PET flakes as it uses hot water and detergents to break down and remove any residual contaminants. The process involves heating the water to a temperature of around 80-90 degrees Celsius and adding a detergent to the mix. The PET flakes are then washed in this hot water for a set period of time, usually around 30-45 minutes, depending on the level of contamination.
