INA BAHUGUNA

Ina Bahuguna brings a wealth of experience in textile waste management, green jobs, livelihood, climate change, and policy. She is the Program lead for the the textile waste management project for Hasiru Dala and instrumental in developing their green vocations programme. Originally hailing from Uttarakhand, a Himalayan state known for its rich biodiversity, Ina has a deep-rooted connection to environmental conservation. Prior to her role at Hasiru Dala, she served as a Senior Researcher in a Ministry of Environment project in Uttarakhand. I specialize in textile waste management, focusing on both post-consumer and pre-consumer waste. I have extensive experience in the collection, sorting, and recycling of textile materials. In addition to my textile expertise, I have a solid background in managing solid waste for municipalities. My skill set includes raising funds, writing comprehensive reports, conducting in-depth research, and meticulous documentation. Ina's passion for creating positive change in environmental sustainability and livelihood development drives her work at Grassroot organization. Her diverse expertise and dedication is channeled towards fostering sustainable practices and improving livelihoods through innovative waste management solutions.
