Hiyoshi India Ecological Services Private Limited was established in Chennai in the year 2011. It is a subsidiary company of Hiyoshi Corporation, Japan, a company founded in 1955 with the sole purpose of serving the global environment.

 

We are providing “One-Stop Service” to cater to all the customer requirements for water and wastewater treatments such as WTP, STP, ETP, RO, NANO, UF and DM from preliminary study of the existing plant, consulting, designing, erection and commissioning to monthly operation and maintenance.

 

In addition, we have a water and wastewater testing laboratory and our laboratory has been accredited in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 in the disciplines of Chemical Testing by NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories, NABL is a constituent board of Quality Council of India (QCI).

Preliminary Study of Existing Facility Condition

Water Quality Analysis to Understand the Existing Treatment Facility:-
 

Collect required volume of water samples for analysis
Select the test parameters as per TNPCB standards
Testing the collected water samples at NABL accredited laboratory as per standard test method (IS/APHA)
After completes the analysis the obtained results are compared with the TNPCB standard requirement
Based on the test result providing necessary recommendations to improve the water quality

Operation & Maintenance Services
We provide daily plant operation and maintenance support for sewage (domestic wastewater) and industrial wastewater treatment with our know-how technique acquired from our extensive experience and experienced technical staffs. We provide services for achieving the regulated standards as well as work closely with the customer to develop the most efficient and cost-effective solution for their facilities. We can give best proposal for optimum facility maintenance (O & M) services to a diverse range of WTP, STP, ETP, RO, NANO, UF and DM of various industries, residential apartments, star hotels, academic institutions, IT parks, shopping malls, hospitals, and many others.

 

Providing systematic approach and plan to ensure the reliable and appropriate treatment and to keep the customer fully informed of progress and associated costs for effective treatment. An example of our treatment activities may include, but is not limited to the following:

Operators supply for daily operations of the plant 24/7.
Manual/physical checking/observation of all the machineries and inform Customer to repair/replace as necessary.
Suggestions for efficient running and improvement of the plant to meet the prescribed standards by regulatory body.
Report to the client (Engineer-in-charge) immediately about any complaint or irregularities.
Maintaining of logbooks and related records as per customer requirement.
As part of the continual improvement, we provide operational training to our operators and technical engineers. The team is evaluated periodically based on their performance and behavioural conduct in order to enhance their abilities.

Our testing laboratory is equipped to perform physical and chemical analysis of water and wastewater as per national and international standard specifications and provides a complete range of services for organic and inorganic analysis, using classical wet chemistry as well as advanced instrumental analytical techniques.

 

Water analysis is a very important strategic tool for optimum operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment facilities such as WTP, STP, ETP, RO, NANO, UF and DM. Laboratory receives water and wastewater samples for analysis along with duly filled Sample Collection Data Sheet.

 

The environment in urbanized areas is often contaminated with a complex mixture of toxic compounds like polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDDs), polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDFs) and dioxin-like polychlorinated biphenyls (dioxins like PCBs). They are structurally related chemicals and persist in the environment and accumulate in organisms. They are often collectively referred to as “dioxins” because of their similar structures, chemical properties and mechanism of action in biological systems.
 

 

Most widely used method to determine the dioxin concentrations are as follows:

1. Analytical Method:
High-Resolution Gas Chromatography-High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (HRGC-HRMS)

2. Screening Method:
CALUX Bioassay- This is a reporter gene assay, which detects dioxin and dioxin-like compounds based on their activation of the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR), which increases expression of the luciferase reporter gene.

Merits of HighLux Bioassay

High precision, short turn-around and inexpensive.
Faster and cheaper than traditional method (HRGC/HRMS).
HighLux Bioassay can be used for Dioxin screening of wide variety of environmental matrices such as soil, sediment, ash, water, exhaust gas as well as low concentration matrix such as food/biological samples.
