Processor Scrap
Saahas Waste Management Pvt. Ltd.Processor Scrap is a critical category of electronic waste that contains valuable metals like gold, palladium, and copper. At Saahas Zero Waste, we manage processor scrap through our specialized EPR-compliant e-waste management solutions, designed to recover precious resources while ensuring secure and environmentally responsible disposal. Discarded processors, whether from outdated computers, servers, or data centers, are collected through our nationwide reverse logistics system, brought to our facilities, and processed using ISO-certified workflows that guarantee both traceability and data security.
Processors often store sensitive data, making secure data destruction a top priority. Saahas Zero Waste ensures this through physical destruction and certified digital wiping processes, offering peace of mind to our clients across corporates, educational institutions, and government agencies. Once data is rendered irrecoverable, each component is sorted and dismantled, and the valuable metals are extracted in partnership with CPCB-authorized recyclers, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
Our approach also integrates social inclusion, training informal sector workers in safe and scientific e-waste handling, thereby improving their livelihoods while enhancing environmental outcomes. Through our Exxtend IT initiative, we assess potential for refurbishment and reuse where applicable, thus extending the lifecycle of technology and minimizing waste. Our outreach programs and e-waste collection drives are designed to educate users on the importance of responsible disposal of processor scrap and similar components.
From 2020 to 2024, we processed over 21,400 tons of e-waste, including high-value processor scrap, demonstrating our scale and capability in handling complex electronic materials. Saahas Zero Waste delivers tangible impact through secure, transparent, and sustainable recycling processes—ensuring that every processor disposed contributes to a cleaner environment and circular economy.
