The financial viability working is given below : For a 10 TPD plant Raw material cost is 4× 10000 =Rs.40000/- fuel cost nil as gas and Tar produced during the process will be used to fire the reactor only labour cost and overheads, consumables etc will be the expenses, consider it to be 10000 per batch, so total Expenses is Rs.50000, out put will be 50% gases and 40 % high quality charcoal and 10% moisture. The sale price of charcoal is Rs.20-28 per kg, at lower price the sale value of 4 ton charcoal will be 80000, giving a net profit of 30000 per batch with no pollution and safety hazards.This charcoal is used by Hotel Industry, Metallurgy Industry etc.
