KK AgrotechKK Agrotech (Biosolutions) is a prominent agricultural solutions company headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra. With a strong commitment to sustainable farming practices, the company has carved a niche for itself as a manufacturer of high-quality organic pesticides, organic fertilizers and biofertilizers. In an era where environmentally friendly and sustainable farming is of paramount importance, KK Agrotech (Biosolutions) plays a pivotal role in providing farmers with innovative, eco-friendly products to enhance crop yields while reducing the environmental impact. One of the notable achievements of KK Agrotech (Biosolutions) is its acquisition of a license for ICAR SBI EPN (Entomopathogenic Nematodes) technology. This prestigious partnership has enabled the company to manufacture and market EPN products under the brand name "KETASIL-200+ (EPNs)" EPN technology is a cutting-edge bio control method used to combat various pests in agriculture. This innovative approach harnesses the power of beneficial nematodes to naturally control harmful insects particularly white grubs. KK Agrotech (Biosolutions) is dedicated to creating a positive impact on the agricultural industry by promoting the use of organic pesticides, fertilizers, and biofertilizers, and through its KETASIL-200+ (EPNs) brand, it is poised to lead the way in the realm of eco-friendly pest control solutions.
Harnessing Nature's Power: KETASIL-200+ (EPNs)
A Revolutionary Biocontrol Solution for Agricultural Pests
Welcome to the Future of Pest Control
KETASIL-200+ (EPNs) offer a groundbreaking solution to agricultural pests, promising effective and eco-friendly biocontrol. Derived from the families Steinernematidae and Heterorhabditidae, these microscopic warriors are nature's answer to soil-inhibiting insects. With KETASIL-200+ (EPNs), you can bid farewell to over 200 insect pests, including notorious troublemakers like mealybugs in grapes and fruit, as well as stem borers in pomegranate.
With rapid action and septicemia-induced mortality, KETASIL-200+ (EPNs) eliminate pests within 24-48 hours, outperforming conventional bio-pesticides that take days or weeks. Versatile and easily cultured, EPNs adapt to various environmental stressors and boast attributes like host-finding ability, infectivity, and reproduction.
KETASIL-200+ (EPNs) is a game-changer in pest management and has diverse applications across agricultural landscapes.
Unveiling the Power of KETASIL-200+ (EPNs)
The Key to Sustainable Pest Control
EPNs are not only lethal to pests but also harmless to humans, animals, plants, and earthworms. Their widespread distribution across diverse ecosystems underscores their adaptability and effectiveness in combating soil-borne insects.
From sandy loam to clay soils, EPNs thrive in varied pH levels and climates, offering a versatile solution for global agricultural challenges. Employing ambush and cruising strategies, these nematodes efficiently locate and infect insect hosts, ensuring swift pest eradication.
With a life cycle intricately linked to symbiotic bacteria, EPNs utilize their hosts to reproduce and perpetuate their population. Through in vivo and in vitro production methods, EPNs can be mass-cultured for large-scale application, revolutionizing pest control strategies.
Empowering Agriculture with KETASIL-200+ (EPNs)
KETASIL-200+ (EPNs) is used as biological control agents against a variety of insect pests. These microscopic roundworms infect and kill insects, making them effective tools in integrated pest management strategies. Some common target pests of entomopathogenic nematodes include:
Armyworms: Larvae of certain moth species, such as the fall armyworm and the true armyworm, can devastate crops like corn, wheat, and grasses.
Root weevils: These insects feed on the roots of many plants, causing damage to ornamental plants, vegetables, and fruit trees.
Fungus gnats: These small flies infest soil and can damage the roots of plants, particularly in greenhouse environments.
Caterpillars: Various species of caterpillars, such as cutworms and cabbage loopers, can cause damage to a wide range of crops including vegetables, fruits, and ornamentals.
Thrips: These tiny insects feed on plant tissues, causing damage to leaves, flowers, and fruits. They are particularly problematic in greenhouse settings.
Corn rootworms: Larvae of these beetles feed on the roots of corn plants, leading to reduced yield and sometimes plant death.
Sod webworms: These larvae feed on the leaves of grasses, causing brown patches and thinning turf.
Japanese beetles: Both the larvae (grubs) and adult beetles can cause damage to a wide range of plants, including turfgrass, ornamentals, and fruit trees.
Harnessing the potential of EPNs opens new frontiers in sustainable agriculture. By leveraging their natural predatory behavior, EPNs offer a viable alternative to chemical pesticides, minimizing environmental impact and preserving ecosystem balance.
Join the revolution in pest management with EPN solutions. Embrace nature's defenders to safeguard crops, promote ecological balance, and secure sustainable food production for generations to come.
